Your account will be credited with the amount entered. eg. *737*200# will credit your phone with NGN200 airtime.
When Recharging Your Friends or Family’s Lines
To send recharge card to someone from your GT bank account using this service, you need enter the USSD code, amount and the person’s phone number.
To wit, dial *737*Amount*Phone number# to buy a recharge card for someone else. eg. dialing *737*200*070000000# will send NGN200 airtime to 070000….
Other Things to know
- Last four digits of your ATM card is required to complete the “buy for a friend” option
- This service is available to only MTN, Airtel and 9Mobile subscribers
- You need use the phone number registered with GTBank for this service
- You can add new numbers by visiting a GT Bank customer care service
- The service is free and limits recharge amount to NGN5,000 daily

This is possible, but you’d have to use either the mobile app or the main USSD banking menu options for it.
Pleas I mistakenly recharge 2000 instead of 200. How can I undo it cos I have not used the credit yet.
Most bank’s customer care unit would revert this for you, while the other option is to sale to Friends via share&sale.

A new dialog box would pop-up for you to enter the card digit for confirmation. The last for digits of your ATM Card is just a one-time confirmation for buying airtime or doing money transfer to friends.You can also opt to use a pin instead.

Pls for the past 3wks, I have not been able to recharge my glo line directly from my bank account. With*737*amount#, I used to recharge successfully, but now, it always show ‘connection problem or invalid MMI code’. Is glo mobile no longer part of the network this code can recharge? It’s very disturbing going to look for vendors before I can recharge. Thanks.
