How to Unroot a Build on Android X86

Unrooting a device on which the x86 version of the Android operating system has been installed gives you the ability to perform certain operations, such as upgrading its firmware.

The x86 version of Android is a collaborative project that attempts to port the operating system to devices using Intel processors, such as laptops and Windows tablet computers.

You can unroot such a device by downloading and running a certain program.
Instructions

Browse to AndroidFlip.com and navigate to the “How to Root or Unroot any Android Device” page. Click on the “Unrooting pack” link. Save the downloaded file to your desktop.
Right-click on the downloaded file and select “Extract here.”
Open the extracted folder and double-click on the “RUNME-UNROOT.bat” file.
Turn on your device and connect it to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
Press any key on your computer’s keyboard to start the unrooting process. Accept any confirmation message that pops up on your device’s screen. When the process is complete, the application will ask you to press any key again and will automatically close.

Tips & Warnings

Leave your device’s screen unlocked during the unrooting process to ensure that you can see the confirmation messages.

Unrooting your device can cause data loss or may even render it completely unusable.
